Madison County is promoting the “Buy Madison County: Calculate the Advantage” campaign to educate local consumers and the community about the advantages of buying goods and services and supporting local business in Madison County.

Through the publishing of The Karing Cookbook the purpose is to raise funds to update and refurbish the Karing Kitchen, a soup kitchen that served over 27,000 meals in 2013 to residents of Madison County.  The kitchen is located in the Oneida First United Methodist Church, corner Main and Grove Streets, Oneida.   For many years the Karing Kitchen has supplied meals to anyone in need including flood survivors, the unemployed, .........

Trooper Huskey Rescue is organizing a ped food collection for those who need pet food or supplies and are having a hard time financially or on a fixed income. Trooper Husky Rescue Inc. can help.  They provide dog walking services for people who want to go away on vacation, are busy at work, or those who just cannot get out to do so.  
 
They will walk your dogs at the time of your choice for a small fee ($10 for one dog, $12.50 for two or more).  All proceeds will go directly to helping Trooper Husky Rescue's programs for special needs huskies and malamutes.
