WHAT: Kids’ Day Out at the Mansion House

Be an investigator and use clues to find your way through the historic Mansion House! We’ll provide the scavenger hunt information, and your family can pick the clue sheet and complete the challenge anytime during our business hours. The completed sheets can be entered in a raffle drawing to win a prize. The drawing will be done after the weekend.

Admission is family rate at $10 for a group of four.

Kids’ Day Out is part of the Path Through History program. Path Through History is a state-wide program that encourages New York State residents and visitors to explore the state’s rich heritage. To see more information visit https://paththroughhistory.iloveny.com.

The Oneida Community Mansion House (OCMH) was once home to the 19th century utopian Oneida Community (1848 – 1880). Today, the building houses a museum with permanent and changing exhibitions about the Community, overnight lodging, and banquet and meeting space. The Mansion House is a National Historic Landmark and history museum chartered by the New York State Department of Education.

The House is open for visitors Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, and Sunday from noon until 5:00 pm. Guided tours are provided regularly April-November and by appointment only December-March.
