Supporting Children and Families through Good Eating Practices

Good nutrition and positive relationships with food do more than just fuel children's bodies- they promote healthy physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.

During this webcast, we'll review factors that can influence what and how children eat. We'll discuss identifying and addressing food insecurity- or not knowing when or where the next safe, nutritious meal is coming from. We'll also take a look at how children develop attitudes and behaviors toward food and explore ways to engage them in positive eating practices.

The Mary Rose Clinic, Oneida Free Medical Health for the Uninsured and Underinsured, exists to provide primary healthcare services to low-income, uninsured and underinsured adults within Madison County and the surrounding areas. We believe high quality healthcare is a basic human right regardless of socioeconomic status.
