Botanical Watercolors, June 9, 2018
Painting flowers in watercolor is as popular now in as it was back in the 1800s. Victorians were fascinated by the natural world and the study of botany.
Participants will learn basic watercolor techniques to create watercolor illustrations in botanical style. Participants will select from a variety of flowers to paint.
Pamela Vogan Lynch, a professional artist and retired Director of Art for the Oneida City School District will be the instructor.
The workshop will be held at the Madison County Historical Society on Saturday, June 9 from 9 am- 12pm.
All watercolor materials will be provided. The cost for the workshop is $30.
This workshop is for adults and children aged 13 years and up. Space is limited to 20 participants, so register soon.
