Where: Oneida Community Mansion House, 170 Kenwood Ave., Oneida NY 13421

Discover architectural clues about how neighborhoods, and the way we live, have changed over time. Participants will uncover the history of the Mansion House and the Kenwood neighborhood of Oneida, NY, while seeing distinctive architectural styles in this walking tour of about a dozen houses (exteriors only) designed by Arts & Crafts architect Ward Wellington Ward and by noted architect Theodore Skinner.

The program will begin at the Mansion House and will take place rain or shine.

The program is free to members of OCMH; $7 for non-members, including house admission. Proceeds benefit collection management, preservation and the interpretive mission of the Mansion House.

Oneida Community Mansion House was the residence of the 19th century utopian Oneida Community (1848 - 1880). OCMH preserves, collects and interprets material culture, intangible heritage, and five historic buildings, situated on 33 acres oflandscaped lawns and gardens. OCMH is a National Historic Landmark and chartered by the New York State Department of Education.

The Mansion House is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, and Sunday from Noon until 5:00 pm. Guided tours are provided Wednesday through Saturday at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm, and Sunday at 2:00 pm.
